Yeezy Slides have opened up the world of Yeezy to a larger audience that extends far beyond sneakers. But none of this would have been possible without their predecessor, Yeezy Slippers.

They featured EVA foam rubber with serrated soles in the infamous monochromatic earthy Yeezy tones. At the base, a grooved sole and cushioned footbed complete the design. This is obviously one of the most universal colors of the slides, and you can tell that they are definitely popular due to the almost triple-digit profit margins.
This either could be the injection point where they shot the foam into the mold to actually create the shoe and then they cut it off when they removed it from the mold. This is honestly how I think future loungewear is going to look and I think that’s sort of the vibe that Kanye is going for and I’m all for it. But if you go from something that’s dry to something that’s wet, it’s going to be slick right at first. Overall, the comfort of the foam on the Yeezy Slides is pretty much next level. But the EVA foam used in the midfoot of the Yeezy Slide is incredibly soft, incredibly cushy, and it bounces back really nicely.
When it comes to sizing, I got this Yeezy Slide in my normal Adidas size and I got to say it is really tight, especially in the forefoot area. Because of my feet, I went from an 8 to a size 7 because there are no half sizes in Yeezy Slides. I have very narrow feet with very high arches, which means my foot gets pushed up even higher because I have high arches.
I’m a size 7.5 and for this specific Yeezy Slide Azure Blue, I decided to go half a size up to 8 and it fits me perfectly. Yes, Yeezy Slides are water-resistant due to their EVA foam construction, making them suitable for beach or poolside wear. While EVA foam is durable replica shoes, it is not particularly eco-friendly. Adidas has started initiatives to recycle old shoes, so there may be options to recycle Yeezy Slides in the future. Adidas has made strides toward sustainability, though Yeezy Slides’ specific eco-friendly attributes are limited.
In the midfoot, there’s an elevated arch area to provide some arch support while the heel area is a little bit indented and it curves around the entire back end. The Slide is really minimal looking with no kind of huge logo. There’s no Yeezy branding or anything like that on the outside of the Slide.
The SL-01 Yeezy Slides are rumored to be released in the coming months. My previous Yeezy Slide Flax, Resin, and Onyx are a size 8, but the Pure is a size 9. So yes, the Pure feels like way more spacious, but that feels good. I think I prefer this on a pair of slides where it’s there’s a little bit more room and it’s a little bit more cozy. So the Yeezy Slide Pure in 9 is a good demonstration why you need to size up with Yeezy Slides.
